Ran into these doggies in front of a used bookstore while out in Oakland with my Mom. Also on our outing we stopped in for lunch at a local tea shop, where the very well-informed man behind the counter explained that "He didn't mean to disrespect the tea" when he said he preferred a different tea to accompany my Mom's salad then the one suggested on the menu. Then when we were getting back in our car, we saw a woman carefully bend down and pick up a worm off the sidewalk and place it in the grass out of harm's way. Got to love those Northern California friendly folks.
