D is for Denmark

Danish architecture seems to be full of color — like Buenos Aires, or my home city of San Francisco. I keep dreaming about the baby pink, yellow, blue, mint green and orange Victorians climbing up the hills above the Castro and weaving around to the Haight.

And also with a similar SF mindset, did you know that in 1989 Denmark become the first European country to legalize same-sex marriage and offer gay couples the same rights as heterosexuals? Harvey would be proud.
