Unobtainable Holiday Wish List #2

You know you really want something when the seasons pass and trends change but every time you see it in a photo, you still want it to be in your closet or on your feet (okay it wasn't that long ago, but still). These shoes are from the Miu Miu Spring 2010 line (you know the ones with all the birds and cats) and are long gone sold out everywhere. But since this wish list is unobtainable by nature, I thought I would just throw them in, considering I do think about them quite a lot. Maybe Santa can find them on ebay for me?

I know they are so far out of my price range (they retailed for $585), but I do firmly believe they are a classic that I could wear forever — that is if I had places to wear crazy tall satin platforms to forever. Anyway, one of my favorite living examples of doing just that, was executed by Joanna Hillman during the last NYC fashion week. Amazing, right?
This is the second time that photo has made it onto my blog I love them so much. But get this, when I was searching for an actual image of my beloved Miu Mius standing alone, I came across this Pura Lopez pair. If needed, I think they might be a fine in-stock unobtainable substitute (this one is on sale for $276 from $395). It looks like I am just really on the market for a pair of blue satin or blue suede shoes.
