All I have to say is that I wish I was still on vacation where all I had to worry about was whether I was finishing my book too quickly, if we had enough bread and cheese to eat, wine and Diebel beer to drink, whether it would be a sunny lay on the beach kind of day or a foggy long bike ride through the forest kind of day, whether I could handle the sauna for more than ten minutes or if a German massage would be up to my standards, whether we should eat fish in a restaurant or cook in the hotel, whether I should play cards or swim laps...
I have returned from a lovely holiday on an island in the Baltic Sea and let me tell you those East Germans have a whole lot more free beach behavior then us Americans. Appropriately my vacation reading took place in a commune in the 1960s, so it didn't take me too long to get into the spirit. More stories and of course pics to come.
Lucky me, I am off to a German beach town on the Baltic Sea for a week and I am going to try my hardest to stay off the Internet and reeelllllllllaaxxxxxxxx — something that has been hard for me to do lately but that's been long overdo. See you when I get back all tanned and serene, hopefully.
