I like This Guy's Photography...

And I like that this is what he wrote on his Phiary page about leaving London.

Car Fire
Burning cars has been added to my list of things I'll miss when I move away from London.
We were in the kitchen, wondering why it smells like burning tyres, so decided to investigate. No idea how this happened, but the car managed to burn completely out before the fire department showed up.

Speaking of Sarah...

Perhaps you would like to see her and Chris's last NYC dance (at least public one) — a tribute to the life blood that is the great white wine.

Au Revoir Sarah

My very dear friend and roommate Sarah boarded a plane this morning with her two cats leaving our house and New York City behind after almost seven years. I have been lucky to have spent four of them with her creating memories that I am sure we will remember for the rest of our lives. I won’t ever forget our late night dancing, ridiculously hung over mornings and everything that happened in between. Here’s a glimpse of the last years in NYC. Sarah, you (and Blue and Storm) will be greatly missed.

My 15 Minutes of Fame...

Lat weekend I got a small glimpse into what the life of a VIP is like. It was a very peculiar last couple of days to say the least. My job certainly adds a whole new level of strangeness to my life.

Song on Repeat: "House of Cards"

I still think this is the most beautiful song. The melancholy rainy day blues, bittersweet happiness and nostalgia balanced together with perfect fluidity. It takes a certain mood.

Perfection

I am a pale pale girl and though it took some time, I have accepted that fact. I embrace the white skin, dark hair, light eyes and occasional red lip look. I have lathered myself in sunscreen on every beach trip and laughed in the face of fake tanner frolicking in the shortest jean shorts possible with my pale ass legs giving a big ‘fuck you’ to the world.

But this photo not only made me swoon over one of the most creatively crafted outfits I have seen in awhile — Chloe you never cease to amaze me, I mean who else could pull off short short short jeans shorts and a white early 90s blazer and make it look, well perfect), but it also made me itch for maybe just a bit of color on my own gams. Hell I'll admit it, it made me want my whole body to be marinated in bronzer. I do have a bottle of free-from-work fake tanner (the sun doesn’t work on me) that has been sitting in my room teasing me for the last two summers. Dare I use it, or should I just try my jean shorts with a blazer instead?

Thanks Ringo.

Poppy Goodness

Sometimes that’s all you need to get you through the day. I have been dancing in my chair (head) to this song all my morning and it is working! Productivity is at an all-time high! Thanks Passion Pit and Michael.

Stop Looking Back...

Okay.

Bathroom Blues

I find myself perched up on the counter in my bathroom quite often actually, I know it’s kind of weird, but I have some serious heart to hearts with myself during these usually late night moments. Maybe that is why this picture caught my eye so much. Actually this girl has caught my eye before (she is quite pretty with the quirky style I appreciate), so I did some research and found out that her name is Alexa Chung and she is some British model, columnist, artist, muse, ‘It Girl’ who has dated more than a hand full of boys in bands, naturally…Anyway, I am moving rooms tomorrow and will no longer have a bathroom conducive to such perching and although my digs are far superior I will miss my random contemplative spot. I think I may paint the new bathroom a blue like this. Blue is a reflective color, maybe that will help.

Thanks Wikstenmade.

Happy Belated Birthday Marilyn!

She sure was pretty that Norma Jeane, who would've been 83 years old yesterday. Today was actually my grandma's bday. Oh us Geminis, we are a feisty bunch.

More smoking and living on the ledge.

Thanks for the pics Fuck Yeah Marilyn Monroe.

Brothers on Bikes

Soon to be brother and sister on bikes. I can't wait for Berlin, I hope we have just a good a time as Michael and Andrew did. Is it too early to start counting down the days?

Piñata Fury

I know for a fact that I will never be allowed a piñata at another birthday or probably even allowed near a piñata at any other function for as long as I am still friends with the guests at my birthday party on Saturday. I can accept that and I do apologize if I scared anyone with my antics, but I will tell you that ever since I beat the shit out of that thing I have felt a serious weight lifted. Apparently I needed some major release. Who knew? Thanks to that little star full or starburst, chocolate and condoms (and the lovely ladies who got it for me) I feel so much better and ready as ever to go into my 28th year aggression free. I think it’s going to be a good one, this year.
