Joanna Hillman Overload

Joanna has taken over the Internet! First I posted about the Harper Bazaar editor's 30 days of outfits and now her very own closet (as well as another blogger fave Mary Kate Steinmiller's of Teen Vogue) is being featured over at the Coveted. A new site that on its own deserves a little mention, it is the Selby of closets, with amazing photos of our favorite fashionables' best clothing decorating their of course stylish abodes. Pretty amazing. And not only are there a bunch of pics to drool over, but little anecdotes about certain items in said closets. And once again my fave shoes make an appearance. Will someone just buy me them already? Either that or a big walk-in closet where I too can show of all my special treasures.

30 Days of Joanna Hillman

You may already know this but Joanna Hillman, the fashion editor extrodinaire who emerged last season as a street style favorite and the owner of my dream shoes, just finished up 30 days of daily outfit posts over at HarpersBazaar.com. The mag jumped on the outfit shot bandwagon with their senior fashion market editor's wardrobe diaries and I am sure their numbers have reaped the benefits. Joanna does not fail to give us a serious glimpse into her drool-worthy closet, a sense of her amazing style, as well as plenty of inspiration for our own outfits. She is no doubt a fashion icon in the making.

I have been a fan of Joanna for awhile now (I mean she does have my shoes) but I will have to say I am a bit disappointed that she never mixed in any vintage pieces with all her designer duds. There were a few high street items, but mostly everything seemed straight off the runway, with not a thing from another era. But I still love her awe-worthy style and the fact that she never leaves the house without her red/orange lipstick (she's got my MAC Lady Danger lipstick too!)and is all about the side braid and her prescription Ray Bans. She has three signature things for every day, yet still never wore the same thing twice. Pretty amazing. Here are a few of my favorite looks:

Into It...Short Hair Black & White

Totally feeling Emma Watson's pixie cut. Did you know that she was the highest paid actress in 2009? Weird, right?

Not normally into her, but am digging Jennifer Aniston as Barbra Streisand in Harper's Bazaar.
